Red Hat Linux 6.2 Free!This page explains how to obtain a free version of jBASE 3.4 for Red Hat Linux 6.2.
Please note that there are some restrictions on this version of jBASE for Linux:
Before downloading you will need to read and accept the license agreement, by downloading the software you accept the license agreement in full and agree to abide by it's rules.
Before doing anything you should read the jBASE Installation Advisory page then print and read it. Please before reporting installation problems. Also see the FAQ for jBASE on Linux. Users upgrading from an earlier version of jBASE should read the release notes.
You must have the korn shell (ksh) installed before you install jBASE for Linux, or the installation will fail. In addition, many of the shell scripts included in jBASE require ksh. For more information see the Pre-requisites on the Readme Page.
With this release, support is withdrawn for all previous version of jBASE on Linux, other than for those customers that purchased commercial licenses. In other words, we only support jBASE for Linux on Red Hat Linux 6.2. Please feel free to try and install other version of Linux if you have them; depending on how close they are to the Red Hat release, they may or may not work. However, please do not report this as a bug.
