Patch PN3_10048
Keyword RUNTIME
Description Correction to work around for DGUX
Date May 7, 1998
Patch Details This patch fixes a problem when the interrupt key (usually CTRL) is depressed while a jBASE application is at an IN or INPUT statement and the BREAK key is disabled. In these circumstances you get the following sort of message:

** Error [ STDIN ] **
Error getting input from STDIN , errno = 4

This problem came about because of code added to jBASE 3.1 to trap DGUX read errors which were causing applications to loop. It appears the trap was a bit too agressive and was questionable in cases when the break key was disabled.

This patch description is for use by jBASE customers and VARs as an aid to supporting their jBASE installations only and may not be redistributed or published in any form without prior written permission of jBASE Software. This page was produced on February 14, 2000.
