legacy application code. For example, setting up users, environment variables,
and custom interface or add-on software. Legacy assembler code will need to be
re-written. B-Tree use may need to be revised. Subroutines used in dictionaries
may need attention.

Ready to
migrate to jBASE or are you just interested in gaining in-depth knowledge about
your new jBASE environment, or perhaps you are evaluating jBASE for your
organization? This five-day class covers the administration and use of jBASE
targeted to existing MultiValue users migrating to jBASE. Administrative topics
cover jBASE environment variables, processes, spooler and tape drives. The "use
of jBASE" portion of this course returns the student to more familiar MultiValue
territory to discuss the unique features of jBASE and how it is different from
other implementations of the MultiValue database environment.
