Windows Prerequisites

Required for installation and Java component support:

Windows  Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.1_06-b01)

Compiler required for jBC application development:

Visual Studio .Net 2005 (SDK v2.0)

Pre-requisites

Shell program required:

You must have the korn shell (ksh) installed before you install jBASE for Linux, or the installation will fail. In addition, many of the shell scripts included in jBASE for Linux require ksh.
