jBASE and Binary Star Team in
Development Project
Framingham, MA -- February 18, 2002 -- jBASE Software Inc., a leading supplier of MultiValue database management software, and Binary Star Development Corporation, provider of leading edge development tools based on the Nucleus AE and the StarSite information manager core technologies, are announcing plans to form a joint effort to work together to bring the Nucleus 4GL and associated products to the jBASE market place. The two companies are working closely together on projects which involve converting applications written in System Builder and Advanced Revelation to run on jBASE. It is hoped that automated or semi-automated conversion tools will be developed from these projects. The combination of Nucleus and jBASE has already registered several successes," states Dave Bryant, President of jBASE Software Inc., "the intention is to build on these and expand the scope to include compatibility and conversion with competitive development environments."
