(11/13/00) Laguna Beach, CA – VARMARK, Inc. announced today that it has signed a non-exclusive National Distribution Agreement with jBASE Software Inc.

On the heels of Pick System’s decision to eliminate its distribution channel, VARMARK has come to an agreement with jBASE Software to represent their MultiValue database product as a replacement for Pick System’s D3. Warren Blossom, President of VARMARK said, "after seven years of being an exclusive distributor for Pick Systems, it was very enlightening to see what was available as an alternative to D3 in the MultiValue database market. VARMARK is very excited about its selection of jBASE as a D3 replacement product. Their pricing is very competitive and their support is extremely responsive."

Blossom went on to say, "many factors brought VARMARK to select jBASE as a replacement for D3, but the most significant factor was that jBASE provides developers with the independence to create applications that work directly and naturally with the operating system, rather than running in a closed isolated environment that lays on top of the operating system."

Although jBASE Software is a relative new comer to this competitive market, they have been steadily growing by strengthening strategic channel and distribution relationships.
