Integrator from jBASE International is an advanced terminal emulator which, once installed, immediately lets you run your legacy application. Thanks to its advanced functionalities, you can implement a Windows “look and feel” to your application in small steps, going at your own pace. Using file transfer, you can extract your data from the host to process them with Windows applications such as Microsoft Word or Excel, fax programs, etc. OLE technology integration gives your host applications the ability to run and process Windows applications.

Powerful terminal emulator runs legacy applications on Windows
With Integrator installed “as is”, host legacy applications run immediately under Windows environments in terminal emulation mode. The emulation provides standard functionalities such as various connection mode (from serial to telnet and SSH), numerous terminal modes (VT, Wyse, Prism, etc.) as well as advanced PC functionalities such as character font choice, “intelligent” cut & paste, backward and forward screen scrolling and background color control.

Easy bidirectional file transfer between host and PC environments
Integrator extracts host files and transfers them to a PC where they can be translated into a desired Windows file such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Fax or HTML. Later another dialog box lets the PC file be transferred in the other direction, back to the host system.

PC applications integrated with host system applications
Integrator lets a legacy application control Windows applications such as Microsoft Word to build a mail merge.

Host applications can drive Windows objects
A host application can be easily revamped into Windows by the addition of Windows objects such as list boxes, dropdown menus, command buttons and dialog boxes. Because the host application drives the objects locally, the original application continues to operate on terminals as before, allowing Windows conversion to take place at the user’s pace.
