Fix

1. Description

CREATE-INDEX on C; correlative

2. Previous Release Behavior

CREATE-INDEX on a C; correlative did not produce the correct index keys.

Prior to this patch, a CREATE-INDEX statement such as:

CREATE-INDEX TESTFILE CCORR BY OCONV(0, \C;1*2\)

would produce all index keys as “*” and would not show any attribute data.

3. Current Release Behavior

CREATE-INDEX on a C; correlative now produces the correct index keys.

3.1. QA Test

$QAHOME/QA/$QAHOME/QA/JQL_WITH_BY_AND_WITH.TST

This test creates a file with random data in attribute 1, then creates an index with:

create-index testfile A1 BY OCONV(0,\C;1\)

and then compares the index keys with the data. The test passes if all index keys match the data.

3.2. Test Results

From the QA account:

jbase-centos5-~/src/International/5.2/QA: TST CREATE_INDEX_ON_C_CORRELATIVE.TST
Compiling Programs
Starting test CREATE_INDEX_ON_C_CORRELATIVE.TST...Passed (Duration = 00:00:00)
Finished

A manual test was implemented in the same manner as the QA test.
